This garden had been neglected during the drought although it contained many roses that the owner was keen to resurrect in a new and colourful garden with an emphasis on flowers to pick.
The roses are flourishing underplanted with perennials such as Nepeta (Catmint), Achillea (Yarrow), Gazania, Arctotis, Lavender, Tulbaghia (Society Garlic) and edged with a low lonicera hedge, helping to keep it neat .
